Details of Landshipping Mansion www.coflein.gov.uk/pdf/CPG154/It is believed that stone from the original Landshipping house - which is long-gone but garden walls remain in the village near Clare House - may have been used in the extending of the new 'Big House' down by the river. This paper gives details of the former house. It is a tad confusing, since both properties have been known by the same name, but are completely different and a fair way from each other.
